Beginning in the 5th Grade,
students at Immanuel Willow Creek are given the privilege to attend confirmation
classes for two years before making their public confession of faith on
Confirmation Day. The purpose of confirmation is to instruct children
who are baptized into the Christian faith in the Holy Scriptures and
doctrines of the Christian Church. Confirmation helps them gain a better
understanding of the gifts of grace their Heavenly Father has showered
upon them in Holy Baptism. Students do not need to be members to attend confirmation classes. |
